What I'd like to show you

Why the Dolomites?

The Dolomites are far more than just an impressive mountain backdrop—they are among the most extraordinary climbing regions in the Alps.

The light-colored, rugged dolomite rock, with its imposing steep towers, walls and pillars that give it a unique, almost monumental character, offers varied climbing with plenty of texture, good friction and an alpine feel.

Historically, the Dolomites are also a significant setting in the history of mountaineering—many classic routes originated here.

We climb where our gaze is constantly drawn to the famous north faces of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo—one of the most impressive rock formations in the Alps.

Towering majestically, steeped in history, and iconic, they embody what makes the Dolomites so special: alpine grandeur, clean lines, and a unique atmosphere that blends beauty and challenge.

Ines Papert

As a multiple world champion in ice climbing, an experienced VDBS climbing instructor, and one of the most successful female mountaineers, she brings exceptional expertise, passion, and empathy to our climbing trips for women.
She is particularly committed to helping women overcome their own limits, let go of their fears, and develop new confidence in their own abilities.

She has made her mark on the history of international ice climbing, and if anyone knows how to do it, it’s her. Sharing this passion has become a labor of love.

As a mother of a son, she also understands the challenges of balancing different aspects of life and creates space for genuine conversations—including about family, personal growth, and new paths in life. With her motivating and authentic approach, she inspires people to rise above themselves—especially in leading.

Lisi Steurer

Lisi Steurer, from Lienz in East Tyrol, is a state-certified mountain and ski guide and one of Austria’s most accomplished alpine climbers. For many years, she has been active internationally in alpine rock and ice climbing and is known for technically demanding routes, first ascents, and her calm, precise style on the mountain. In addition to her work as a mountain guide, she also works as an instructor, lecturer, and mentor in the alpine context.

Her approach to mountaineering is characterized by independence, experience, and a strong focus on safety, combined with a commitment not only to providing technical guidance but also to involving others in the learning process. Her home region of East Tyrol remains her primary base and has a significant influence on her approach to mountaineering.

Throughout her long career, she has also maintained a close rope team partnership and friendship with Ines, with whom she has repeatedly undertaken challenging expeditions.
