2. Hosting
This website is hosted by webgo GmbH, Heidenkampsweg 81, 20097 Hamburg, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with webgo. All data you enter on this website is stored on this server.
3. Server log files
When you visit the website, the following data is collected automatically: IP address, date and time, page visited, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
4. SSL/TLS encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by “https://” and the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.
5. Enquiry and contact form
When you send us an enquiry via the form, we process the selected trip, your name, email address, phone number and message. The data is stored on our server at webgo and forwarded to us by email. We use it to answer your enquiry and to prepare a booking. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. If no booking is made, we delete the data no later than 12 months after our last communication.
To protect the form against spam, we use Google reCAPTCHA v3 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). reCAPTCHA analyses usage behaviour such as IP address, mouse movements and time spent on the page to distinguish humans from bots. Data may be transferred to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protecting our website from misuse.
6. Booking and running the trips
To book and run a trip, we process your contact details, booking details and the information the trip requires, such as your climbing level or dietary needs. Where necessary, we pass this data on to service providers: accommodation and hotels, the skipper and charter company, transport companies and the accompanying guides. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We keep booking and invoice records for the statutory retention periods of up to 10 years (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB).
7. Newsletter and email marketing
We use the WordPress plugin MailPoet for our newsletter. Your data is stored on our server at webgo. A sending service operated by Automattic Inc. may be used to deliver the emails; data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
You will only receive the newsletter with your consent, given via the newsletter form or the checkbox in the enquiry form. After signing up, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription (double opt-in). We store the time of sign-up and confirmation as proof. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to info@ines-papert.de. We will then remove your address from the list.
8. Cookies and consent management (Complianz)
We use the Complianz plugin to obtain and store your consent to cookies and tracking. Complianz runs on our own server. Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of § 25 (2) TDDDG. All other services are only loaded after you consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Manage consent” in the footer.
9. Google Analytics 4
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to analyse how the website is used. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Cookies are set and usage data such as page views, device type and approximate location are processed. IP addresses are truncated within the EU. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). The data is deleted after the retention period set in Google Analytics.
10. Google Ads: conversion tracking and remarketing
With your consent, we use Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited, address as above). Conversion tracking shows us whether someone sent an enquiry after clicking on an ad. Remarketing allows us to show visitors to this website relevant ads later on other websites and on Google. Cookies are set for this purpose. Data may be transferred to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG).
11. YouTube videos
On our trip pages we embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, address as above). The videos only load when you click on them. Only then is a connection to YouTube established, and YouTube receives, among other things, your IP address and the page you visited. If you are logged in to YouTube, YouTube can link the visit to your account. Data may be transferred to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is the consent you give by clicking (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
12. Fonts
The fonts on this website are loaded locally from our server. No connection to Google servers is made.
13. Links to Instagram and YouTube
In the footer we link to our profiles on Instagram and YouTube. These are simple links. No data is transferred until you click a link and open the platform. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies there.
14. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You can object to processing for direct marketing purposes at any time without giving reasons.
A message to info@ines-papert.de is all it takes. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
15. Storage period
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or required by statutory retention periods.
